Billionaire business
guru Jimoh Ibrahim is in the news again! People who sighted him recently at the
convocation of the Covenant University, Otta, could not hold their leaking
mouth as they kept wondering what connection the Ondo-born business magnate had
with the citadel of learning, or even its founder, Bishop David Oyedepo
especially when it became obvious that that was not his first or second visit
to the campus.

A prominent member of
Winners Chapel whispered to us that Jimoh Ibrahim is a member of the board of
directors at Covenant University. We further gathered that he might not have
been made a board member for the fun of it, but it must have been sanctioned
the prosperity-preaching bishop due to his wealth. That could also explain
Ibrahim offers employment all first class graduates of Covenant University. A
student of Covenant University told Beth News how Mr. Jimoh
Ibrahim offered employment to about 20 first-class graduates of Covenant
University into his company but failed the tests. What we gathered is that
if any first class graduate must work in any of his companies they must pass
through series of tests to test their ability to fit in which is very normal
even in government sectors. Unfortunately, when the last set graduate Mr. Jimoh
Ibrahim offered employment went through the test, they all failed and this got
Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim so furious and devastated that he called Bishop David Oyedepo
who told him to sack all others, that if they are in his employ they may destroy
his business empire. Jimoh Ibrahim did not have any option than to carry out
Bishop Oyedepo’s instructions.
