CAUSES OF VIOLENCE IN NIGERIA

Violence in Nigeria has been a common phenomenon, now involving or caused by a physical force that is intended to hurt or kill and its primary root lies within ourselves; i.e. human beings. In fact many elements may be involved out of the act of men, such as adultery, thieveries, murders, wickedness, fornications, blasphemy, envy, unreasonableness just to mention a few out of human bad behaviors which cause violence in our society
Humans feed such wrong inclination when we repeatedly look at, listen to or think about wicked or bad things, but when we feed our mind with wholesome pretty things and put aside bad desires and nurture good ones, there will surely be an end to violence.
Violence tends to be complex and often might not be attributed to a single factor. Elements may be involved such as hatred, jealousy, alcohol and drug abuse, desperation and desire false religion; when someone hates another it could also cause violence. Someone addicted to alcohol and drug may become more prone to violent behavior and respond more aggressively. Sometimes when people are oppressed and seem not to be in control, they may also be prompted.
Meanwhile false religion is often linked with violence including terrorism. There are various religious beliefs; to some people, slaughtering one another is right in their own religion. Although we may be born with certain wrong inclinations, at times or most cases violent behavior is usually learned.
