This is to bring to the notice of the citizens of Ijebu Ode and Ogun State at large a notorious cultist & a serial killer named Adewale Adeoye a.k.a Sixteen (16) who was born in 1987 at Kosofe Local Govt Area, Lagos State and he's based in Orunfe Street, Ijebu -Ode, Ogun State. Adewale who according to sources of information from the Criminal Investigative Unit of the Police Force revealed that he has a strong membership with "The Eiye Confraternity" has been terrorising the community with the aid of his gang members (Tablet, Go Slow, Genesis, Sunday Bello, Aroboto, Seyi Ika, Sule Minister, Odu, Awesu, Neyo Bata (Ring Leader of The Eiye Confraternity Ijebu Ode) Neyo Olomi (Indian Hemp peddler) etc.) He had been involved in the killings 8 persons, amongst them are
1. Abass
Yekini whom he murdered on October 10, 2012 at Aiyegun Street
Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State after which he was arrested, prosecuted and
sentenced which led to his imprisonment for almost 3 years but some of
his sponsors (Alhaji Titilayo Akibu a.ka. Efele) a Road Transport Union
Worker (RTEAN) and some so called politicians got him released on bail.
More recently, the above mentioned serial killer headed his syndicate to
the killings of more person whose details are as below:
2. Tricycle Rider along the Ijebu Ode express way (Fari Express) whose Identity was later claimed by the men of The Nigeria Army at Ilese Engineering Barracks, Ijebu Ode which resulted into the conflict between the raging military men and the motor park attendants but Titilayo Akibu (Efele) the sponsor of Adewale (16) managed to escape the confrontation by the soldiers with a broken-leg.
3. Koleowo a final year student of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic at Abeokuta was unjustifiably murdered. On the 25th of May, 2015 Adewale (16) led the killing of Koleowo at Packer Arena, Italapo Street, Ijebu Ode. Koleowo had just came home over the weekend in attendance of his elder sister's wedding when the killer and his cohorts stormed at Koleowo squeezing life out of him.
4. Abbey the third victim whom happened to be a member of "The Aye Confraternity" was also hacked to death at Festac, Ijebu Ode, for reasons best known to Adewale (16) and his fellow in crime. Adewale (16) whose bail was sponsored by some politicians was later set free by men of the Nigerian Police Force (Igbeba Division) having spent 3 years at the Nigerian Prisons, Igbeba, Ijebu Ode.
Ever since Adewale (16) had been let loose he had been involved in the murdering of not less than 3 more innocent persons whose details where earlier mentioned. Right now, another plot is underway by his sponsors and some unknown politicians to grant him access to bail to enable him perpetrate more evil. Why should a serial killer be granted freedom?! This is why we are calling upon all notable citizens (indigene and non) of the Ijebu Land and Ogun State entirely to ensure that Adewale (16) is judiciously prosecuted and made to face the wrath of the law by being sentenced for his offences.
We also want to appreciate the efforts of men of the Nigerian Police Force in ensuring peace coexistence through vigilance. We use this medium to enjoin the Nigerian Police Force to ensure the upliftment of the rule of law- which stipulates that all offenders must be punished by prosecuting Adewale (16) and his syndicate.
