RADIO PRESENTER OF FAAJI FM SOJI OMOTAYO POPULARLY KNOWN AS SOJ WAS ATTACKED

A Lagos-based journalist and radio Yoruba presenter of FAAJI FM Mr. Olusoji Omotayo  aka SOJ was attacked by a man called Agarawu who alleged that he was dating his wife. According to the information gathered from our reporter who spoke to SOJ said the man lured him to his house under the guise of given SOJ a publicity job, unknown to him, Agarawu was planning to attack SOJ on having an affair with his wife.

 He said "All I could remember was on Saturday  22nd of August 2015, my personal assistance Bulova Abdul called my attention to it @about 4pm that a client of my named kunle kushimo agarawu called like 4timez dat he needed to see me for a publicity job for a friend of his. I asked her to put a call straight to him when I woke up Cuz. I anchored an event through d nite.. When my PA got truuu to him he greeted me fine and said can I pls see him early between 630am and,, 7am on Sunday d 23d of August @"home. For a publicity job for a friend of his.. I told him I might not be able to make it Cuz. I needed to get to church dat Sunday. Cuz for 3sundays I av bin very busy anchoring shows outside Lagos.. He pleaded dat d guy in question will only be available dat Sunday. Den I said I will try. Thereafter I asked my PA to stay behind dat we shall both see agarawu dat Sunday. As early as, 6am in daa morning of 23d alas!! Agarawu called again. But I never picked since we av not done our morning devotion. Which my wife led . Thereafter I called him back. He asked if am on my way? I said almost.. I eventually set out with my PA leaving my wife and odas to tidy up for church.. D traffic to oju ore Ota was much dat morning. While he was calling to know where I was. I told him. I will soon be with him. Couldn't even get d area again Cuz it's bin long I went to his house last. But with d help of d area boys,, @oju ore. We eventually landed @his apartment (, half 8am Dia about. I called his line. To let him know I am outside his gate. He came out and ushered us in . Saw d daughter she greeted me also saw d wife who also said!!! So eku Odun meta ooooh. He took my self and bukky to his living room. And he asked. Is my wife iya okiki in naija. I said yes. He now said pls call her for me let me say hello to her . I did. Alas!!! What I heard was!!! Iya okiki. I invited ur hubby here dis morning .!!! I am going to kill him.  I learnt his going out with iya bidemi my wife.. Before I could say jack!!! He pocketed my phone. And brought out cutlass from his trouser. And said,,!!! See oooo wipe mood nsere ni? D first attack was my left hand. I shouted haaaaa,!!!! Ofe paami. Before I knew it he hit me on my Belle. My head. My, 2legs he threw d cutlass @my personal assistant who was shouting for help. Along side d wife and d daughter inside d compound.. He quickly locked d door to his living room.. Came back to me in d pool of blood unconscious.. I managed to struggle with him. Held d cutlass . We both fell. And den he brot out a naked wire be his to and started using it. To shock me. But since d good lord said I will live but not die. Alas,,!!! I pushed him and manage to lock d burglary, @him. Not quite long I saw people trooping in. Maybe as a result of d cry for help. D only person. I could recognize was alhaji moruf alagbe his broda and friend. He was d one dat called d anti robbery team, @onipanu.by obasanjo farm police station to come and resquue d situation. I was taken to d station by d team alongside d cuprit.. My personal assistant and odas with alhaji alagbe.. Latter one inspector liasu and one oda took me to d general hospital by d station for treatment . dey stitched my head.. Belle. And hand. Latter dey brot me back to d station. I met somany people from him appealing to me to be calm dat dey will compesate me dat I should let d sleeping dog lay. I was told he is bin detained in d cell. His people were talking about settlement. Which myself and my wife went against. All I kept saying is dat I want justice. I was asked to go home and rest. And come back on Monday by inspector liasu. I promise to be back with my lawyer on Tuesday. To my greatest surprise I got an hint dat agarawu was released not long I left d station Cuz dey own most police station in ogun state as a notorious smuggler.. Hence I took my case to panti and from panti to zone 2
I decided not to make it public so dat he Can be apprehended and since zone 2 has sent signal. I went public truuu d media I belong to as a stakeholder Pls note dat, @d station d cutlass which was d exhibit was not visible.
