President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday appoints Ms. Kemi Adeosun as Minister of Finance. She faces an uphill task of fixing Africa’s largest Economy which had suffered decline in the last 18 months owing about 40% drop in oil price.
Kemi Adeosun was Born in United kingdom on the 9th of March, 1967
She graduated from the prestigious University East London in 1989 with Upper Second Class Honours in Applied Economics, there after She became the senior manager at the renown auditing firm, Price Waterhouse Coopers in London, while In 2011, Kemi Adeosun was appointed as Ogun State commissioner for finance under the serving Governor Ibikunle Amosun
Also a former managing director at Chapel Hill Denham, a Lagos-based investment bank.
So much is expected from the new Finance Minister even as the nation’s revenue continues to dwindle and foreign reserves plummeting under the new administration.
