ON MARCH 31, 1964, the Western Regional Government under Late Chief Ladoke Akintola

the publication increased in leaps and bounds. The corporate office was located at Dugbe
in the vicinity of Cocoa House,

* Daily Sketch
* Sunday Sketch
* Evening Sketch (hope I'm correct) and,
* Gboungboun (the Yoruba version)

when the Odua Investment states that owned it could not come to a compromise
on the funding of the Sketch Press Ltd.

And it is all the brainchild of our oga, Elder Bode Oyewole,
former Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club who himself is an acclaimed journalist.
Elder Oyewole's Spark Communications Ltd, is in charge of the Sketch rebirth.

I pray, that for the sake of our children and their generations,
this proud bequest of our heroes past shall go back to its old glory!
