Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke has enjoined Christian faithful in Osun State not to give in to whims of the trickery pestilence ravaging through the face of the earth, but draw inspirations from the all conquering powers of the Almighty, under whose feet the devil was defeated long ago.
Senator Ademola Adeleke noted in an Easter message signed by him on Sunday that, being locked out of regular worship centers at this point in time was enough for any half witted heart to be drowned in this scornful roars of the devil, asking true followers of Jesus Christ to dig into the powerful lessons of this day, the day the tomb was ripped open, heralding the victory of Master Jesus over death.
"Although, we are being denied one of our greatest essence as a people, a people of high degree of social bonding, where we draw incredible strengths leaning on one another, as well as sharing love with family and friends, yet, we should not be broken, we must not bow, because the force of this day did not bow even in the face of gallows of death", Adeleke admonished.
The 2018 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State also called on Christians and other residents of the state to adhere religiously to the directives of health professionals as well as government at all levels in stemming the tide of Coronovirus, currently obstructing our daily activities, including our chosen ways of worshiping our creator.
As a strong and resilient people of faith, we must not allow ourselves to be knocked down by the passing lockdown. We shall overcome as the 'Lord Jesus' overcame death which is the worst of it all, Adeleke assured.
