It has come to the notice of His Royal Majesty about a rumor on recorded videos and messages going round social media that one of the Oba’s wives had ‘fled’ the palace and reunited with her ‘ex’;

This is rumor as it is, is a sad one, that anyone could comes out to make such derogatory statements about His Majesty this is nothing but an insult on the Edo people and on what our culture stands for, please refrain from spreading this rumor as the rumor is fallacious and impugning also an act of sacrilege on the Benin traditions and culture.
