Former Kwara State Governor Ahmed Mourns Senator Ajimobi

Ex-Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has mourned the death of the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi, who he described as a focussed administrator.
In a twitter message, Alhaji Ahmed condoled Senator Ajimobi’s family, the government and the people of Oyo State.
“Senator Isiaka Ajimobi, former Oyo State Governor’s death came as an immense shock to my family and me. He was a devoted family man, accomplished technocrat, and a well-loved politician whose deep affection for Oyo State was not in doubt. I remember him as a principled colleague, focussed administrator and candid politician. For me, Oyo State will celebrate Senator Ajimobi’s impact as a lawmaker and Governor for a long time.
I offer sincere condolences to Mrs Florence Ajimobi and the children, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, and the good people of Oyo State. May Allah forgive Senator Ajimobi, grant him Aljanah, and uphold the loving family he left behind.”
