The mood was ecstatic and atmosphere terrific today as the newly appointed SUBEB Chairman Hon Israel Ajibola Famurewa,his Commissioners and other members resumed officially at their office in Oshogbo,the Osun state capital.
The program well attended by top government functionaries and party loyalists across the state was kick-started with prayers for the new officers as they were committed in the hands of God Almighty for His guidance towards the discharge of their new duties.
Hon Famurewa after being ushered into his new office by the staffs then led other members of the board along side other top government officials including party supporters to pay homage to Osun APC chairman Prince Adegboyega Famodun at his residence in Famson area Igbona,Oshogbo.
The SUBEB new Boss on behalf of other members thanked Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and Prince Famodun for the confidence reposed in them to pilot the affairs of the board which would enable them to contribute their own quota to the developmental drive of Governor Oyetola administration.
He then pledged his full loyalty and support to the government of Governor Oyetola and also expressed confidence in the leadership acumen of Prince Famodun to take Osun APC to greater height.
In his welcome address,Osun APC Chairman Prince Adegboyega Famodun said he was delighted to receive the new SUBEB head and members at his residence. He urgent them to put in their efforts in giving a good account of themselves in the discharge of the new assignment in their hands this he said will be a way of paying back the confidence reposed in them by Governor Oyetola.
The Igbajo born Politician did not end his speech without praying the success of Famurewa led SUBEB for resounding success.
Among the Government functionaries that attended the event were Mr Richard Tinubu DG Boss,Hon Olatubosun Oyintoloye,Engr Remi Omowaiye hon Commissioner for Works and Transport,Hon Sola Oladepo the commisoner for Environment and sanitation,Hon Rufus Oyagbile the SA Environment and host other government functionaries across the state and local governments level.
The CEO Interfem reconstruction company,Engr Femi Daramola also attended the event.
