INSECURITY: Our Leaders, Chief Of Staffs Have Failed Us In Nigeria

Few days ago, images of a well organized protest heating up the home state of the current incumbent Nigerian President, Buhari, with equally very agitated protestors flooded several conventional 'News Outlets' and the Social Media was awash with it.

Now, it must be noted that prior 2015, that state had kept a very low profile as a northwestern state politically, relative peace & human restiveness wise.
It always had a strong unseen, but very evident immunity to all the religious, political and sectarian crisis synonymous to the North.

The few times they came up in the news before now, was when they had their current Governor, 'Alhaji Aminu Bello leading the 4th Nigerian House of Reps, as the 'fearless no nonsense', soft spoken (Rt Hon) Speaker, during OBJ's days as President.
And also when they produced our late President, Alhaji Umar Musa Yar'adua as our 4th Democratically elected president.

A very gentle, peace loving, accommodating & privately conservative people. They hated attentions & publicity of any kind, & embraced their culturally agrarian/pastural community life dearly.
Until their Daura son came into power.
Not many knew PMB came from there.
We all thought he was a 'Kaduna or Kano man' until his campaigns in 2015.

For this people to come out protesting unconcerned so openly, and publicly to the whole world, showed that they've been pushed very far to the wall.
They are now really helpless and hopeless, and even now with their 'Governor's recent 'open confession of confusion', on the way out of the siege of relentless killings on the state by wickedly armed bloody bandits.

Whatever is happening there needs to be addressed quickly & settled for once, fast.
They won't appreciate embarrassing their son who is 'President', so openly with that protest, if their own lives, source of livelihood, sustenance & very 'right to existence', wasn't heavily threatened.

Whatever necessitated the killings, who ever brought them, whosoever is commanding/instructing/using them, whoever is owing them or guilty of breaching sinister political contractual talks with them, from 'the basic level..to the echelons' must cooperate, settle them fast or fight them away quickly.

The violence, killings and restiveness of a once very peaceful Katsina is now becoming one too many.

GOD save Katsina
