He's Still Awaiting Trial After Six Years Of His Life Wasted Inside Maximum Ikoyi Prison Without Trial

HOW OUR JUDICIARY  CONTRIBUTES TO THE PROBLEMS OF NIGERIA

I still don't understand how Nigerian judiciary operates, because when it's comes to Political/parties matters they quickly passes judgement within twenty four hours and such Judgement would stand.

Here is another young guy Popularly known as Junior; according to those who knows him very well says Nigerian policemen raided and alleged him of been a criminal on his street when he was said to have gone to charged his laptop in his neighbour's house that is just a stone throw to his house in Lagos.

Sources said Junior is never a criminal he's just an easy going young guy, but ever since he has been accused and mistakenly raided; he has been in the maximum Prison for the past six years without trial, to the greatest surprised; six years of his life wasted and he's still awaiting trial.

Where are those human rights activist of this great nation? There are thousands of awaiting trial in all those prison who has been kept for years.

  1. Didn't he has lawyer nor access to anyone?
Then, your report too apart from being in need of some editing, also need to be on appealing tone for help for him, and not in the abusive tone you are writing it.
Mention that politician who quickly got his/her case quickly dispensed with without having a lawyer or lawyers who made such case to be fast.
Approach Legal Aid Council, Public Defender, Human Right Commission and such others to help him out.
Thanks and well done for writing about the guy.
