God bless Legal Practitioner Biodun Tugbiyele on Channels TV Sunrise Daily few days ago concerning the "Mummy Calm Down" video and I'm so glad that I agree to and belong to that school of thought with such a great mind like that. That child negotiating with his mother is a manipulator and should be watched and corrected. Nigerians should stop celebrating negative things because what is wrong is wrong. This is my final submission on this case.
It is the same rubbing of emotions into everything that has led to where we are as a Nation now. When criminals are caught, instead of allowing justice take its full course, we are blackmailed into treating it with kids gloves and emotions till the case is swept under the carpet like nothing had happened with no single consequences for wrong doing. Then they get rehabilitated and reintegrated back into the same society their actions had destroyed. And now we feel it is okay and smart for a child to negotiate his ways out of reprimand? Unbelievable.
Irrespective of his smartness, he deserves to be reprimanded for what he did. Wrong is wrong.
