Residents of Sanmora, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State were on Saturday August 1, 2020 surprised to see popular comic actor, Olaniyi Afonja (Popularly known and addressed as Sanyeri), Kunle Afod and ace movie director, Adebayo Tijani in their community.
The star artistes and Tijani were in the town to pay homage to the Oloba of Eju Land, His RoyalHighness, Oloba Maroof Ekundayo Afolayan at his palace located at Isale-Oba, Sanmora.
The visit coincidentally with the special prayer to curb the Covid-19 pandemic and the attendant effect on the nation's economy. The prayer was organised by Oloba who is also the Baba Adinni of Rukayat Islamic Centre, Ilorin.
The artistes and the movie director all expressed their unalloyed support for Oloba who is also the CEO of Almaroof Media Network and Almaroof Standard lnvestment.
