How Major Arms Dealer With Possible Links To Slained Terrorist Gaba, Arrested In Gembu

Jimmy Bolaji, a dangerous arms dealer from the Idioma tribe in Benue State, Nigeria, who supplies and smuggles arms and ammunitions to Ambazonia armed separatists in Cameroon, other criminals, sponsors of militias and cattle rustlers across Nigeria has been arrested by the Nigerian police in Gembu, Sardauna LGA, Taraba State. Jimmy was apprehended 9th September 2020, allegedly with arms and substantial cash.

According to social media reports citing reliable sources, Jimmy has been presenting himself as a police officer with uniforms, bullet vests, police ID and military outfits.

He first came to light when a minor Ambazonia separatist militia sponsor, Franklin Verla, living in America and travelling often to Nigeria to launder arms and money mentioned his name on Facebook and WhatsApp audios in relation to a bodged arm deal.

According to Ambazonia separatists and social media reports Jimmy Bolaji has high level accomplices and protégés in the security services.

In some of the photos on this post Jimmy Bolaji posed with Ambazonia terrorist "General" Blaise and other militias after completing a delivery of arms to them. Blaise and his militias have terrorised Nwa Sub Division and the border areas inside Taraba State for a while, murdering many, rustling cattle and collecting huge ransoms.

He is also believed to have collaborators in Sardauna especially in Gembu and the border areas. In one of the photos here he is seen with a community leader believed to be the Jowro of Ndung Yaji and exchanging what appears to he a document with another person.

Jimmy Bolaji is also being suspected of supplying arms to Mambilla militias who massacred hundreds of  Fulani in Sardauna in 2017.

Social media reports state that Jimmy has contacts within Ambazonia activists in Ikom, Calabar, Owerri and in refugees camps and other criminal fraternities in Cross River, Benue, Taraba and other states
