Mammoth Crowd @ Erukucity Ankara Night Carnival 2020

Erukucity Youths held her 9th

edition of annual Ankara Night Carnival on the 26th of  December, 2020 sequel to the directive of  the gullible Erukuans, Owa of our dear hometown and proactive Committee members.

Ankara Night Carnival commenced at 10:00pm with the arrival of the dignitaries, personality and resourceful registered committed Erukucity clubs from every denominations within our jurisdictions, invited guests and members.

In attendance were the following dignitaries from amicable club:

- ACP, Toyin Afolaogun.

- Dr.  Kehinde Obateru

- Bar. Kola Omotinugbon

- Dr. Segun Obateru

- Pharmacist Rotimi Afolaogun

- Mr. Lekan Rotimi

- Hon.Harry Ilori

- Mr. Femi Rojah 

To mentioned but few.

The event was also recognises the presence of these following proactive clubs.

- Amicable Club

- Fancy Club

- Mesi-Club

- Goshen Club

- Gents Club

- Club Six

- Phemnick Life Support Foundation

And many more.

Gbe..... Kim gbe" was amazing as all Erukuans sang the song with a standing ovation in a joyous atmosphere. 

The Owa of Erukucity Kaabiyesi Busari Ayinde Olanrewaju Amuludunloye1, warmly welcomed everyone. He spoke briefly about the events which ushered in his presence at the memorable event , whilst also requesting that, everyone should observe a minute silence in honour of late Chief Oni the Asiwaju of Erukuland. 

He proceeded to appreciate the good works of Erukucity Youths the Committee and the organizers of Erukucity Ankara Night Carnival. He appreciated all Daddies and Mommies and those resourceful, reliable clubs for being a strong pillar of support for Ankara Night Carnival, says they remains a frontline fighter in gender advocacy in our dear hometown.

The originated and brain behind Erukucity Ankara Night Carnival Olabisi Tolani in his address noted that the idea came up nine years ago and God has been the sustainability saying further; " He pray and want this great annual Erukucity Ankara Night Carnival to look more of Ojude Oba annual event which brings every Ijebus together yearly said want it to looks more half of the world's population which will makes us relevant numerically also pleaded for sponsorship for the subsequent events".

The second brain behind this memorable event Abel Olasunkanmi Ayeni in his keynote after exchanging pleasantries, says one of the main reason and focus of the memorable event is to bring all Erukuans both home and diaspora together most especially our young men, women planning to get married from hometown this singular act will energises their strengths and to actually choose their choices.

The invited guest Mr. Abel Durowaye  had goodwill messages for Erukucity Ankara Night Carnival, in which he gave his best regards with words of encouragement  to continue the good works the committee's and those pillars behind this memorable event has been carrying out amidst the men, women and children in Erukucity also talked briefly about Erukucity traditions and some ancient historical within our jurisdictions and many more that our Youths of nowadays need to know and be familiar with.

To crown it all and to make this year event more glamorous an award of excellence was given to those who deserved to be honoured.

This year memorable event features Idi, dancing competition, raffle draw and entertainment in Erukucity dialects evergreen songs which was sang to  thrilled the audience by our two resourceful highlife JuJu musicians. Toyin Dollars and Ife Bright.

We look forward to seeing more Erukuans next year and we pray for safe trip as we all journey back to our stations.
