What Was His Offence? Would FG, DSS Apologize To Him? ~ By Oluwaseun Trust BethNews

He confronted the Fulani who have been terrorising and killing Ibarapa people in Oyo axis some months ago and chased them out of Igangan/Ibarapa in Oyo State without killing a single soul.

Instead of state and federal governments decided to take prompt action by calling those Fulanis to order without visiting Ibarapa to console the affected families, surprisingly.

After Fulani killings of Yoruba in Ibarapa and prompt response from Sunday Igboho, he waited for months in order to get a positive response from the government but both the state and federal authorities acted as if nothing has ever happened within that axis. He therefore instructed those Fulani to leave the area with immediate effect. For daring to order them out of the area, the authorities decided to wage war against him. That was when Sunday suddenly changed the stance to start agitating for Oodua nation.

He embarked on mega peaceful rallies in some states within the south-west like Osogbo, Ogun, Ekiti, etc. He had also planned for the same peaceful rally in Lagos slated for Saturday 3rd of July 2021, but tragic befell him when DSS unconstitutionally invaded his house at Soka in Ibadan, Oyo State about 1:45 am killing two people and destroying his property. They also apprehended not less than 12 innocent people.

Barely 18 hours after the ugly DSS invasion Igboho was declared most wanted criminal for allegedly “stockpiling firearms.”

Few days after, Professor Wole Soyinka asked the FG to apologize for the unconstitutional invasion of Igboho's house, just as his lawyer slammed DSS with a N500 million case.

Twenty days after declaring him wanted, instead of apologising to him, they chased after him, ask Cotonou Interpol to extradite him to Nigeria.

Benin Republic officials may granted Igboho asylum.
