B-R-E-A-K-I-N-G: Olowora Youths Calls On Governor Sanwo-Olu To Stop The Proposed Gate By Omole Phase2 ... Demands Immediate Cancellation Of Residential Stickers Extortion, Says It May Result To 3 Communities Mayhem

Olowora Youths has condemned in totality the proposed plan of Omole please2 to erect a gate on the major roads that combined the three communities, i.e Olowora, Isheri and Omole Phase2 also kicked against residential stickers extortion by Omole Phase2 as this may leads to communities clash between Olowora, Isheri and Omole Phase2 if the state government failed to intervene or take immediate action to stop Omole Phase2 from extorting the residents and general public hard-earned money via purported gate pass ticketing

According to Olowora Youths Leader, pouring out his grievances together with the entire youths says "they're fully ready to fight this until their last blood drop if government refused to listen to their compliant" saying further, being the Olowora youths leader who had been appealing to the entire youths of Olowora never to take law into their hands if not, they would have gone than to Otedola's bridge to pull down the gate that was erected for extortion by Omole Phase2.

Meanwhile...Baale of Olowora also Kicked Against Omole Phase2 Propose Plan To Erect Gate On The Major Roads That Joins 3 Communities Together

... As Baale Ogungbeye Says "Olowora Is An Ancient Community of Over 100years With 500,000 Residents

...Cries Out To Governor Sanwo-Olu To Take Prompt Action.

Baale Olowora and the entire residents of Olowora kicked against proposed plan from Omole phase2 to erect a gate in order to  barricade or block the only major roads that leads/joining 3 communities Olowora, Isheri and Omole and its environs, when Chief Baale Ahalji Suleiman Ogungbeye of Olowora speaking with some journalists recently in Lagos said Olowora remains the only ancient community within that axis and jurisdictions that have been in an existence for over hundred years with the population of over five hundred thousand people living in the community till date.

The Baale speaks further, that it was a rude shocked hearing that Omole phase2 went to Ministry of works at Alausa to get an approval to barricade/block the only major roads from the residents, motorists especially market women and men.

The Baale questioned again, if eventually the road is block which he's pretty sure that such project can never be approved by our grassroots Lagos Governor.

He further asked, how would people of Olowora, Isheri and Omole phase2 be accessing/channelling through their communities if such project is eventually erected?

The Baale also remarked, this is a wicked act and barbaric as far as he's concerned.

Baale of Olowora said  he could vividly recollect during Otedola's bridge when the same Omole phase2 came up with an idea to erected a passing gate, we both dialogue and brainstormed together this dialogue could came up together with Omole phase2 simple because we have never had any issues before, as a matter of fact; we used to have a joint CDA's meeting together, at a point Olowora even has 2 CDA chairman amongst them, and this shown the level of our closeness and mutual relationship.

We made them to realised during Otedola's gate that it's also our main entrance and not even only Olowora also to those accessing Omole-Isheri and its environs.

What we told Omole phase2 and agreed together was that, after such gate might have been erected, Omole phase2 shouldn't have 100% control over the gate because it combining 3 respected communities together Omole-Isheri, Olowora and Omole phase2 in which we told them the gate would only be locked up at every 12:00 midnight and open at 5:00am without creating any obstruction which Omole phase2 Wholeheartedly said yes to the agreement/request, but unknowingly to Olowora and Isheri we never knew that Omole phase2 had another entire plans towards erecting gate at Otedola's bridge because 6 months after erected the gate, Omole phase2 introduced gate pass, started issuing ticketing for stickers that cost N1,500 to cover just 3months, We Olowora stood our ground to kicked against their sudden changed if plan towards because that wasn't our initial agreement, we went further to makes them to have a rethink over issuing a ticket/gate pass on a major roads that joined 3 respected community together, Olowora, Omole-Isheri and Omole phase2 even other roads motorists users, so it simply means any cars without having Omole phase2 gate stickers such vehicle wouldn't be allowed to have access through that route which will be so disastrous to the 3 community.

We found out that every of our moves and prompt efforts to stop their purported ticket then was to no avail as every effort were all proved abortive, and Olowora couldn't do anything further that is why issuing of ticket/gate pass by Omole phase2 at Otedola's bridge gate has been as it is till date and that's really our grievances to stop their proposed plan of mounting another gate on the major roads from Olowora, Isheri and Omole phase2 so that what happened during Otedola's bridge gate would not repeat itself the second time.

Baale said, haven't read their purported said letter brought from Alausa, which he believed the inscription not even detailed enough, he therefore knows there was sacrosanct and conspiracy emanating from the pit of hell, as far as he's concerned and very obvious Omole Phase2 community are actually planing to used their influence, affluence to ride on our human rights at the expense of their wicked act again knowing fully well if any gate is been erected at that particular spot there won't be an existing route to apply for over 500,000 residence of Olowora, Isheri etc. Again as Omole phase2 failed to even think of the economy disasters this might caused to the general public within the axis.

Baale said at this juncture, my humble self Chief, Alhaji Suleiman Ogungbeye the real Baale of Olowora and the entire Olowora community say no to any further illegal road blockage with gate hardship within our community because we can no longer continue saying we share the same borders with Omole phase II yet allowing them to override our human rights while we call on His Excellency Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to wage into this by taking a prompt action to stop Omole phase2 from erecting any form of gate in order to save Olowora community and its environs.

Residents of Olowoira community, a community under Ikosi-Isheri local government area of Lagos state has called on the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu to help intervene and stop the proposed erection of gates on the popular Olowora road.

The residents who came out in their large numbers with placards that has various inscriptions on it called on the Governor to disregard and stop the plans of some selfish individuals at the Omole phase2, a neighboring community to Olowora and Isheri, or there will be a serious communal clash that may degenerate to a breakdown of law and order within the 3 community.

A note was said to have been sent to the Baale and community leaders of Olowora from some influential residents of Omole phase2 who said they have gotten approvals from the State's Ministry of Works to erect a gate at a major road and the only road that led to Olowora, Isheri and its environs just because its too accessible for people who used the road to access their community.

They noted that aside the road being a major road, the road is the only access to Olowora community and the only access to other residents at Isheri and Omole. A move they see that if actualized will block the whole road and also make life unbearable for people living in the community.

According to Mr Segun Fadeji, the secretary of Ifelodun Olowora community, Omole phase2 was given as another neighboring community and we all accepted them, Olowora were the original owners of the lands but they gated the other end of the road to introduce the ticketing platform.

"Governor Sanwo-Olu should caution this individuals who out of their selfish interest wanted to cause mayhem in our community."

"This is a major road that serves about 3 communities. Olowora, Isheri and Omole phase2. It is a public road, it cannot be gated or blocked."

"We know Governor Sanwo -Olu will not accept to such unfriendly and anti-peace exercise in his state. We are not ready to gate our roads!"

Iyaloja of Olowora an aged woman also said "this is total wickedness and selfish interest without considering the welfare of the poor masses, saying further Olowora ancestors will be so angry with Omole phase2 myopic act" while she called on Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and those in the affairs of Lagos government to look into this before it would generate into unending community mayhem".
