Chief Executive Officer of Equity Concepts Entertainment, Rowland Okorie, has in recent times been speaking on his dissatisfaction with Nigerian leaders.
Okorie, in a statement he issued on Thursday, April 6th, 2023, took a swipe at the governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, calling him a liar and a tribalistic leader.
He said; “Some leaders are not just living by example, they are full of deceit. Most times they easily walk away due to people around them being a sycophant. Whenever I listens to Yoruba elder statesman and Afenifere chieftain, Chief Ayo Adebanjo I see a different kind of leader who understands the position Nigeria should be headed.”
“The Governor of Lagos State has not demonstrated that he is a true Nigerian. He is everything he talked against in his recent speech, no content of unity. Listening to his speech this morning was a disgrace, it shows he has no respect for the unity of the country.”
“It hurts my stomach and makes me sick. I call it the worst and most dangerous divisive speech I have ever listened to post election in modern Nigerian history. It was full of hate and anger, lies, deceit and most dangerously provocative. It was provocative even to his audience because they know he is a lying governor all the time he opens his mouth.”
