Frills,Glitz As CJPAN Holds AGM/Hall Of Fame Induction 2023

 

It was a moment of thrills,glitz and splendor,as the Celebrity Journal Publishers Association of Nigeria (CJPAN) held its 5th Annual General Meeting;and the induction of notable Nigerians into her Hall Of Fame,on Wednesday 13th December,2023.

The event;which took place at the prestigious Oriental hotel,along Lekki-Epe express way,Lagos,saw eminent personalities from different walks of life gracing the occasion.

The guest speaker; Mr. Lekan Isola while delivering the keynote address, emphasize the need to prioritize the Media;in achieving corporate excellence in governance.

Ishola,who is the Principal Consultant at Brand Communication Network,lectured on 'The Roles Of Corporate Governance In Economic Development.'  He stressed that,no society functions in isolation of the media as its watchdog,and therefore urge the various arms of government and the society at large,to effectively and efficiently collaborate with the media,to bring the dividends of good governance to the fore.

On his own part,the President of CJPAN;  Alhaji Olarewaju Mohammed while speaking,expressed profound gratitude to the association's executives and members.  He encourage them to work more assiduously,in order to glamourise the noble profession;that has over the ages unified the society and shooting many to fame.

Alhaji Olarewaju thanked Mr Austin Osukpo, Seye Otite of Ecobank's Media and Corporate Communications department,for their presence and unwavering hands of fellowship, while also commending the supports from other banks.  He however urge them to do more, stressing that CJPAN is willing and ever ready to do more,and such, like the popular Oliver Twist,they always want more.

Among the eminent Nigerians inducted into CJPAN's Hall of Fame were: the mercurial seer and soul winner, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, oil,gas and Real Estate czar; Aare Bashir Olawale Fakorede, the uncommonly bold, beautiful and brainy actress; Foluke Daramola, fuji maestro;Atawewe, a media titan; Abu-satar Ìdòwú Hamed.

Other notable Nigerians,who have attained excellence in their various fields of endeavors inducted include: Mr Fuhad Oloro, Mr Oluwatosin Samuel and others.

In his closing remarks,the President of the association thanked everyone in attendance,and wished Nigerians merry Christmas and a prosperous new year in advance.
